Audrey Therisa Hendricks, 56, of Chouteau, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 13, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on May 5, 1956, in Howell, Michigan, the daughter of Don and Thelma (Acklin) Simpson. She worked for Bayer Chemical Company in Kansas City, Missouri for over 20 years. Audrey was a member of the Pipeliner's Union Local 798 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, working for them throughout many states as a welder helper. She married Wade Hendricks on February 14, 2005 in Miami, Oklahoma. She was a member of Word Fellowship Church in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Audrey loved her church family and all of the times spent with them. She enjoyed gardening, being on the lake, spending time outdoors, riding her horse (Rebel) and playing with her dog, Eva. Audrey also enjoyed watching the Antiques Road Show. She dearly loved her Lord and her family, and it was evident to everyone she knew. She was not afraid to let her light shine to those she was around. Audrey leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family and friends to cherish. She will be truly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Word Fellowship in Chouteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Mark Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Don Goodrich, Charles Goodrich, Danny Simpson, Robert Duncan, Austin Simpson and Joseph Hollifield serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Wayne Coots and Jack Gabbert. Audrey is survived by her husband, Wade of the home; her step-children, Heath Hendricks of Stillwater, OK, Ryan Hendricks of Pryor, OK and Jacey and husband, Court Thomson of Pryor, OK; her brothers, Larry and wife, Debbie Simpson of Cabot, AR, Darnell and wife, Donna of Kinsman, IL and David Simpson of Bangor, MI; her sisters, Linda Clark and Wayne Coots of Jonesboro, AR, Donna Bruner of Jonesboro, AR, Sylvia Duncan of Hickory, NC, Kimi and husband, Charlie Goodrich of Bangor, MI, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Thelma Simpson; two brothers, Shane and Tommy Simpson.
