Billy Ray Corn, 75, of Salina, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 in Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on November 14, 1936, the son of Calvin and Clara Piland. He married Lydia "Jody" Artis on February 14, 1981 in Dallas, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2011. Billy loved to go fishing and hunting. He enjoyed having fish fry's for his family and friends and spending time with them. Graveside Services will be held on 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the Chouteau North Cemetery with Reverend Tim Mahurin officiating. Casket bearers will be Michael Rauch, David Smith, Joseph Smith, Sean Henderson, Ed Henderson, and Leonard Smith. Visitation will be held at the Shipman's Funeral Home chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He is survived by his significant other, Clorine Bolen; One son, Ray W. Rauch, Jr. of Grandview, MO; three daughters, Mary Kay and husband Robin Thomas of Waynesburg, PA, Realene Henderson and Linda Smith; One brother, James A. Piland of Collinsville, OK; and three sisters, Dolly Vivion of Pryor, OK, Shirley Grumet of Pryor, OK, and Dorothy Piland of Foyil, OK. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lydia, and his sister, Imogene Combs.
