Donnie Gale Brown, 70, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 in Pryor. He was born on August 3, 1940 in Plainview, Texas, the son of James Marvin Brown and Lillian Louise (Cantrell) Brown. He faithfully served his Country for 13 years in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He served as a Tech Sergeant doing military testing on planes and working in electrical. He worked for Robel Tissue in Pryor as an electrical supervisor for many years. Donnie enjoyed building clocks. He was a Godly man who loved his Lord and enjoyed studying the bible. He loved his family and his friends. Donnie will be remembered in the many memories he leaves in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel in Pryor with Reverend David Gleason officiating. He is survived by his children, Jeff and wife, Janet Brown of Claremore, OK and Melissa Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sisters, Annis Hallum of Louisiana; Barbara Scarberry of Oklahoma City, OK and Jackie James of Pryor, OK; 9 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Brown; sisters, Bonnie Nowlin, Pat Jordan and Floreance Fry.
