Harry Mitchell

Harry Eugene Mitchell, 68, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on September 18, 1944 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Ollis Mitchell and Billie M. (Allery) Mitchell. He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He married Madelyn Guhl on December 14, 1968 in Pueblo, Colorado. Harry was self employed as a machinist. He loved computers working and building them. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing also working in his garden. He dearly loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery in Salina, Oklahoma with Reverend Kennith Stacy officiating. He is survived by his wife, Madelyn Mitchell of the home; children, Merle Mitchell of Santa Fe, NM, Tommy ad wife, Skye Guhl of Pryor, OK, Chris and husband, Dal Handle of Jay, OK, Billie Jo and husband, Tim Vallejo of Santa Fe, NM; sister, Donna and husband Mike Sandoval of Pine Bluff, AR; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Billie Mitchell; one brother, Marvin Mitchell.
