James Plemmons

James Lynn Plemmons, 68, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on December 9, 1943 in Nash, Texas, the son of Joseph Miles Plemmons and Nellie (Merritt) Plemmons. He was a self employed roofer for many years. He married LouAnna Ann Pickup. Jim was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a ham radio operator. Jim was an evangelist minister for 30 years. His total trust was in the Lord. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Cornerstone Outreach with Reverend Rick Kiddy officiating. He is survived by his wife, LouAnna Plemmons of the home; his sons, Jeff and wife, Rachell Plemmons of Salina, OK; Charles and wife, Connie Plemmons of Salina, OK, and Travas Plemmons of Salina, OK; his sister, Helen Briggs of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Tosha Rae, Kylie and Jake; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nellie Plemmons; brothers, Clarence, Jack, Gene, Robert and Herbert Plemmons; one sister, Pat Lukenbill and two infant sisters, Mary Margaret and Betty Jo Plemmons.
