Lucille Coats

Lucille Francis Coats, 86, of Woodbridge, Virginia, formerly of Strang, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was born October 5, 1926 in Jay, Oklahoma, the daughter of Levert Lenord and Mable Mae (Billings) Williams. Lucille enjoyed sewing, quilting and growing flowers. She loved vegetable gardening and canning what she grew. She was a farm girl, helping her husband with the cattle and farming. She loved music and enjoyed dancing. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Lucille will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the the Spavinaw Strang Cemetery. Casket bearers are William Madison Coats, Johnny Ray Daniel Coats, Darrell Michael Coats, Teddy Wayne Bell II, Christopher Nigel Coats. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Pamela Mast and husband William of Woodbridge, VA; son's Kenneth Lee Coats and wife Patricia, William Daniel Coats all of Tahlequah, OK; Lenord Kenneth Coats Sr. and wife Shirley of Tulsa,OK; and Darrell Francis Coats Langley OK; sister, Aline Dick of Owasso, OK; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grand children and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levert and Mable Williams, her husband, Billie Kenneth Coats, brother's Evert L. Williams, Floyd Williams, Bruce Williams, Thomas J. Williams.
