Russell Maner

Russell Lewis Maner, 76, passed away on Wednesday October 24, 2012 in Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on April 13, 1936. He married Bertha Ann Douglas on January 25, 1957 in Pryor, Oklahoma, who preceded him in death. He married Ada Walden Perry on December 20, 1984. He enjoyed fishing, picking flowers, bird watching and helping people. He retired from Auto Springs in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he worked as a diesel mechanic. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Raymond Shann officiating. Interment will be in the Hogan Cemetery, Locust Grove, Oklahoma with Kevin Mangus, Keith Mangus, Stephen Habibi, Thomas Butler, Cody Maner, and Randy Bilyeu serving as casket bearers. Honorary Casket bearers will be John Habibi, Joshua Ward, Timothy Bilyeu, Ben Garrett, Shawn King and Travis Messimore. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Home chapel. Daughters, Margaret Mangus husband Mike of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Patricia Ann Habibi husband Joseph of Dearborn, Michigan, Janet Ward husband Fritzy of Pryor, Oklahoma, Linda Butler of Claremore, Oklahoma and Joseph Miller of Pryor, Oklahoma . Sisters, Virginia Estes, of Enid Oklahoma, Louise Estes, of Enid, Oklahoma, Bertie Moore husband Jerry of Enid, Oklahoma. Gertie Maner of Enid, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Bertha Ann Maner, December 31, 1983. Brothers, Burgess Maner, Luther Maner, Claude Wayne Maner, Hershell Maner, G.P. Maner, Jessie Maner, Grant Maner and Jimmy Maner.
