Sylvia Leach

Sylvia Leach, 75, of Strang, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Strang, Oklahoma. She was born on February 20, 1938 in Strang, the daughter of Newt and Maggie Smoke. She liked garage sales, playing bingo and loved the times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ribbon Cemetery with Reverend Bridge Chuckluck. Interment will be in the Ribbon Cemetery with Luke Smoke Jr., Mike Smoke, Clint Smoke, Jason Smoke, Kevin Smoke, and Phillip Harrington serving as casket bearers. Curtis King, Mikeal Leach, Josh Myers will serve as honorary casket bearers. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening. She is survived by her three daughters, Carrie Harrington of Claremore, OK; Eliza Leach of Pryor, OK; Felicia King of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Larry Leach of Strang, OK; Tyler Leach of Pryor, OK; one sister, Betty Smoke of Locust Grove, OK; three brothers, Henry Smoke of Sallisaw, OK; Ronnie Smoke and Lee Roy Smoke of Strang, OK; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Luke Smoke.
