Tom R. Arnold, 59, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on December 9, 1952 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of Cledis Jerl Arnold and Patsy Ann (Rogers) Arnold. He had worked as a nursing assistant for the Grand Valley Hospital in Pryor, Oklahoma. Tom enjoyed dancing as a favorite pastime. He enjoyed watching western movies and working in his flower gardens. Tom loved and enjoyed his time with his family and attending family gatherings. He will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Tom will be held at 2 p.m. in the First Church of God on Thursday, August 30, 2012 with Reverend Andrew Rehbein officiating. Interment will be in the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery with David Arnold, Matthew Arnold, Shawn Botsford, Tracey Carver and Jesse Terhune serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. He is survived by his mother, Patsy Ann Hill of Tiajuana, OK; his sons, Shannin Lee Arnold of Silverton, TX and Jeromi Todd Arnold of Pryor, OK; his brother, Stanley Wayne Arnold of Ketchum, OK; his sister, Naomi Arnold of McAllen, TX; his grandsons, Justin, David Lee, Matthew, Zaiden, Mason and Levi; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cledis Arnold and one grandson, Jonathan Arnold.
