Alan's passions were deeply rooted in the outdoors, where he found joy in hunting and fishing. His affinity for raising Dalmatians and his interest in husbandry further exemplified his love for animals and nature. A multifaceted individual, Alan also embraced modern entertainments such as video gaming and enjoyed capturing the essence of family life through the lens of his camcorder. His penchant for humor brought light to every gathering, as he was known to play friendly pranks that showcased his jovial spirit.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Janice and Jerry Farris, affectionately known as Mema and Papa, and his best friend, Chris Blossom. Alan's vibrant presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the love of his family and the memories they hold dear.
