Alan Adams McAnally, 79, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1942 in Austin, Texas; the son of Duane and Lucille (Adams) McAnally. He worked for many years at the Ralston – Purina in maintenance. Alan married Sandera Casey and they celebrated almost 58 years together until her passing in March. Alan enjoyed collecting knives and tending to his vegetable garden. His world revolved around his grandchildren and his family. He looked forward to spending all the time he could with them. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022 in the Pryor Church of Christ with Brother D.J. Castoe officiating. Alan is survived by his sons, Bruce McAnally and wife Darcie of Loveland, Colorado and Brett McAnally and wife Dayna of Kasilof, Alaska; mother, Lucille Ervin of Vinita, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Aaron McAnally and wife Andrea of Loveland, Colorado, Brettany McAnally; Niecce McAnally of Pryor, Oklahoma and Caitlin McAnally of Pryor, Oklahoma; 4 great grandchildren, Levi, MacKenzie, Natalie and Blake; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Duane McAnally; wife, Sandera McAnally; and son, Brian McAnally.
