Alan Shepherd

Alan Vernon Shepherd, 60, of Pryor, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, in Pryor. He was born on January 7, 1962 in San Diego, California; the son of Roy Vernon Shepherd and Barbara Ellen (Bledsoe) Shepherd. Alan became disabled at a young age but never let his disability get in his way. He loved watching sports, reading, and being with his family. Alan was dearly loved and leaves behind cherished memories.

Graveside services for Alan will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at DeGray Cemetery in Arkadelphia, Arkansas with David Young officiating. Alan is survived by his father, Roy Shepherd. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; paternal grandparents, Arlie and Gertrude Shepherd; and maternal grandparents, Carley and Pearl Bledsoe.
