Alfred Sayre

Alfred Wayne Sayre, 59, of Chouteau, passed away on November 17, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1959 in Amarillo, Texas; the son of Johnlee and Betty Ruth (Kellum) Sayre. He worked at Berry Plastics for several years working in maintenance. He has lived in the Mayes County area for over 20 years, coming from Arkansas. Alfred was a good country boy and had an amazing work ethic. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially when he was woodworking, wood burning and leather works. He leaves behind many memories for his family to remember and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 in the First Baptist Church in Hollister, Missouri with Pastor Wilburn Griswold officiating. Alfred is survived by his son, Alfred Masterson and wife Jessica of Olathe, Kansas; daughter, Regina Lauren Brison and husband Josh of Hollister, Missouri; 2 brothers, John Sayre and wife Betty of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Terry Sayre and wife June of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
