Alice Rutherford

December 22, 1942 — May 5, 2014

Alice "Faye" Rutherford Alice "Faye" Rutherford, 71 of Chouteau, OK went home to meet Jesus on May 5, 2014. A celebration service will be held in honor Thursday, May 8, at 11am at Word Fellowship Church, Chouteau, OK, where she was a member. Faye was born in Jacksonville, Florida December 22, 1942 and married David L. Rutherford Sr. on December 22, 1970. They were married 44 years. Faye enjoyed the simpler things in life, mostly her family, whom she loved very much. She was called "Grandma Faye" by more than her grandchildren. Her grandkids say she was the Grandma to beat out all Grandmas. Her philosophies in life were honest, she believed you loved all and forgave all. She was well respected for her faith in God and stayed faithful up until her last breath. The peace that passed all understanding held her up and kept a smile on her face. Faye is survived by her 6 children: Michael W. Perry and his wife Toni of Broken Arrow, OK; David L. Rutherford Jr. of Pryor, OK; Melinda K. Roberts of Chouteau, OK; Kenneth L. Perry and his wife Gina of Broken Arrow, OK; his twin Keith A. Perry and his wife Sandra of Claremore, OK; and Trisha L. Johnson and her husband Mark of Chouteau, OK. Two sisters: Janice McDougal of Clearlake, CA and Rose Elaine Mckinley of Panama City, FL. She has 16 grandchildren: Erin, Dustin, Nathan, Melissa, Rebecca, Ashley, Alicia, Summer, Brittney, Tyler, Kendra, Austin, Jayden, Brody, Daniel, and Dusten who she loved without fail, and were great companions to her. She also had 18 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents Nolan Ashely Knight and Alice Florence Clark, as well as her sister Linda Jane Foulke. She will be remembered and revered for her quite, soft spirit and her unselfish giving.
