Ali M. Males, 75, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1943 in Sioux City, Iowa; the daughter of Earnest and Rachel (Campbell) Scheelhaase. Ali married Dean Males on June 5, 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They made their life in Washington State and coming back to the Mayes County area for the last 14 years. Ali earned her Bachelor of Art’s degree in Resource Management and Development on April 1, 1999 from Trinity College and Seminary. She worked for many years as a secretary for Gateway Computers, Boeing Aircraft and Litton Ship Building. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, and playing the organ. Ali also loved to read devotions and witnessing for the Lord. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who leaves behind many fond memories.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with her husband, Dean, officiating. Burial will be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Ali is survived by her husband, Dean Males of the home; sons, Troy Males and wife Cathy of Eatonville, Washington and Mark Tott and wife Lauri of Burnsville, Minnesota; sister, Lucy Morgan of Moville, Iowa; grandson, Jeffrey Rench and wife Arin; and 2 great grandchildren, Amara and Jaida; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Rachel Scheelhaase, her baby boy, daughter, Lesley Tott; and brother, Clarence Scheelhaase.
