Alvin Lewis White

Alvin Lewis White, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 8, 2023, in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born on December 24, 1944, in Carthage, Missouri. Alvin's life was filled with love for his family and a passion for the simple joys of life.

Alvin had a touching and warm personality that made him easily approachable to friends and strangers alike. He had a deep connection with nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, where he could find solace and peace by the water. Alvin also found joy in grilling out with loved ones and taking pride in maintaining his yard meticulously.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Liza White, as well as seven siblings who have gone before him.

Although they have left this world ahead of him, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of many years, Rachel White. Their bond was a testament to the power of enduring love and unwavering commitment. They navigated life's ups and downs together with unwavering support and devotion.

Alvin's legacy continues through his son, Alvin White and wife Rebecca of Owasso, OK. Alvin's nurturing nature extended beyond words into actions as he guided his children through life's challenges with love and wisdom.

Two grandchildren, Will Eaton and Annie White, were the source of immense joy for Alvin. He treasured every moment spent with them, relishing in their laughter and creating lasting memories that will be cherished by generations to come.

In addition to his immediate family, Alvin leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who were fortunate to have him as an uncle. His presence in their lives brought comfort during difficult times and sparked contagious laughter during the happiest moments.

To honor and remember Alvin, a Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma. The service will commence at 10:00 AM, with friends and loved ones gathering to pay their final respects.
