Amanda Louise Stokes

Amanda Louise McKinnon (Stokes) was born on December 18, 1994, in Tahlequah OK. She departed this life on October 25, 2023.

Amanda was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She was a very warm, generous, loving and genuine person. She always had time for others and had enough warmth to share. She was a loving mother to 6 beautiful children and adored them all greatly. She had a fondness for drawing, coloring and lots of other crafts. She also enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family and friends. She very much loved the great outdoors and going horseback riding with her mom and many friends. Amanda left this life way to soon and will be sorely missed by those who loved her. 

Amanda is survived by her 2 sons: Hayden and Malachi; her 4 daughters: Elyssa, Zoey, Zaylea, and Vanessa; her father Curtis Stokes of Salina, OK; her, mother and fiancé Ronna Stokes and Clint Barnes of Salina, OK; her brother: Lane Stokes of Salina, OK; her maternal grandparents; Ronald and Lousie Dry of Salina, OK; 2 uncles; Jerry Battenfield of Pryor, OK; and Eldon Dry of Salina, OK; plus, numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother; Audry Stokes of Salina, OK. 

So, with heavy hearts we must say goodbye for now, at least until we meet again someday.

Funeral services for Amanda will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2023, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel.
