Amy Michelle Lavender, 43, of Oologah, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 30, 1982, in Vinita, Oklahoma. Amy had a passion for creativity and spent 16 years as a dedicated hairdresser, bringing joy and confidence to her clients. She had a knack for crafting and loved quilting, scrapbooking family vacations, and finding hidden treasures at garage sales and antique stores—especially older Fisher-Price toys. She had an eye for a bargain and a thrill for getting a good deal. Amy’s playful spirit and ornery sense of humor made her the family’s best prankster, always keeping everyone on their toes. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing on a quiet afternoon, searching for the perfect antique find, and, most of all, spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews. Easter was her favorite holiday, and she delighted in hiding eggs, making the day extra special for them. Amy’s love, laughter, and mischievous spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew her.
Amy is survived by her daughters, Carlie Pritchard of Verdigris, Oklahoma and Everly Evans of Oologah, Oklahoma; parents, Charles and Pamela (Bowline) Goins of Eucha, Oklahoma; sisters, Stephanie Goins of Eucha, Oklahoma, Valerie Duffield and husband Joe of Grove, Oklahoma, and Ciana Summerfield and husband Jonah of Grove, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
