Andrew Feeling, Jr.

Andrew Feeling, Jr., 68, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Pryor. He was born on November 25, 1949 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Andrew Feeling, Sr. and Nellie (Thompson) Feeling. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army. After returning from the military, Andrew went to work for Claremore Indian Hospital as a housekeeper and for the Cherokee Nation Food Distribution Center, where he worked until his passing. He loved OU Football and was their biggest fan. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling as well. Andrew loved his family and all the time he spent with them, he looked forward to spending time with his many nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Andrew would say he was so kind and helpful to everyone he met. He was a member of the New Jordan Baptist Church and loved his Lord and Savior. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the Salina First Baptist Church in Salina with Reverend Buddy Ross. Burial will follow in the Little Rock Cemetery in Locust Grove with Paul Henson, Elijah Feeling, Nathaniel Feeling, Rusty Harlan, Jason Gann and Brandon Feeling serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be his nieces and nephews. Visitation and wake service will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Andrew is survived by his siblings, Robert and wife, JoAnn Feeling of Peggs, Oklahoma, Jackie and wife, Stella Feeling of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Jess Feeling of Salina, Oklahoma, Bobbie and wife, Robyn Feeling of Arizona, Thomas Feeling of Adair, Oklahoma, Carolyn and husband Bennie of Salina, Oklahoma, Verlynn Starr of Salina, Oklahoma, and Elaine and husband Steve Holata of Wewoka, Oklahoma; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Feeling, Sr. and Nellie (Thompson) Feeling, one brother, James Feeling; one sister, Elsie Scuggins, and numerous aunts.
