Anita King

Anita F. King, 52, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 in Pryor. She was born on December 31, 1962 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clarence King Sr. and Emma King. She worked as an administrative assistant for the International Paper Company. Anita came from Pineville, Louisiana 10 years ago. Anita lived her life avidly pushing limitations. She was a strong individual, an independent female living however she saw fit. She touched many, many lives. She welcomed many friends into her life and treated them like her own. Those that were lost, abandoned, weary or broken found an accepting, down to earth woman in Anita. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Anita enjoyed gardening and was always helping her family and friends. A lovely caring woman who will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Aaron Robinson officiating. She is survived by her children, Michael Lynn Creekkiller and Andrea of Pryor, OK, Amy Rachel King of Pryor, OK, and Carla Renee Creekkiller-Wilson and husband, Brandon of Deville , LA; her brothers and sisters, James King of Tahlequah, OK, Kathy King of Salina, OK, Mark and wife, Karen King of Locust Grove, OK, Rita and husband, Tony Drywater of Chouteau, OK, Annette King of Tulsa, OK, Emma Lou and Husband, Kreoke Cooke of Decatur, AR; Tim and wife, Angela King of Kansas, OK; 6 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Emma King, her brother, Clarence King, Jr., and sister, Mary King.
