Anita Lois Morris, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. Born on June 24, 1947, in Enid, Oklahoma, she lived a life full of passion, creativity, and dedication to her family and profession.
Anita was a skilled chef who made her mark in the culinary world as the owner of several restaurants throughout her career. Her love for cooking not only showcased her talent and creativity, but it also brought people together, fostering a sense of community and connection among family and friends.
In addition to her culinary pursuits, Anita had a profound appreciation for the outdoors. She also found joy in gardening.
Anita is survived by her son, Jerry Wilhelm, and wife Linda of Weatherford, OK; her daughter, Keri Henning, and husband Brent of Pryor, OK; and her cherished grandchildren, David and Jessica Henning, Taylor and Justin Turner, Mycah and Raul Andablo, and Tate Wilhelm. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren who were a source of immense joy and pride in her later years.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Jean Taber; her husband, Anthony J. Morris; and three brothers. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, warmth, and culinary talents. She will be dearly missed by her family.
