Anton é��â‚é..."Tonyé��â‚é�� Unruh, 79, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at his home. Tony was born on August 15, 1930 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of David D. Unruh and Justina (Janzen) Unruh. He married Joann Funk on November 24, 1956 in the Eden Mennonite Church in Inola, Oklahoma and they had spent 52 years together. Tony worked for Oklahoma Fixture Company as a millwright. After his retirement from Oklahoma Fixture, he was an independent building contractor and examples of his work can be seen around the community. He was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church in Inola, Oklahoma, where he served in a number of capacities, including Deacon, Sunday school teacher and Trustee. Tony loved being outdoors, especially fishing, something he did several times a day. Tony was also a great kitchen helper to his wife, Joann. In his younger years Tony traveled to Germany as a group leader with the Mennonite Organization PAX, to build homes for refugees escaping the Communist sector. Tony was a very humble man, whose expertise in building and carpentry was second to none. His favorite saying was é��â‚é..."Well leté��â‚â„�s get on with ité��â‚é�� and thaté��â‚â„�s what he did with great skill and determination to do a job well. Tony loved his Lord and his family and will be so very missed by all whose lives he touched. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eden Mennonite Church in Inola, Oklahoma with Pastor Dave Wiens officiating. The family asks memorials be made to the Eden Mennonite Church Building Fund in Tonyé��â‚â„�s memory at 21905 E. 600 Road, Inola, Oklahoma 74036. Tony is survived by his wife, Joann Unruh of the home; his son, David M. Unruh and wife, Rhonda of Inola, OK; two brothers, Lee and wife, Elaine Unruh of Eagan, MN and John and wife, Eileen Unruh of Hillsboro, KS; three sisters, Tina of Goessel, KS, Norma and Levi Schrock of Elkhart, IN and Adella Gabel of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Christopher Unruh, Sasha Unruh and Anthony Juarez; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Justina Unruh; his daughter Sandra Louise Juarez and two sisters.
