Arthur Gerald Corbett, 56, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home in Chouteau. He was born on September 25, 1958 in Del Rio, Texas; the son of Gerald Lee and Norma Lea (Evans) Corbett. Arthur graduated from Van Buren High School. He was a member of the Mazie First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church events. He also had a love for the outdoors, especially taking his grandkids fishing and hunting and looked forward to each moment he had to spend with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October, 20, 2014 in the Mazie First Baptist Church in Mazie, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Chouteau West Cemetery with Doyle Cantrell, Jeremy Cantrell, Brad Cantrell, Gerald "Jerry" Arthur Corbett, Michael Corbett, and Matthew Corbett serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October, 19, 2014 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Arthur is survived by his wife, Tammy Corbett of the home; 3 sons, Gerald "Jerry" Arthur Corbett and wife Dana of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Michael Corbett and wife Katy of Menlo, Iowa, and Matthew Corbett and wife Lindsey of Pryor, Oklahoma; parents, Norma and Gerald Corbett, 3 sisters, Barbara Joyce Huff of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Debbie Cantrell and husband Riley of Chouteau, Oklahoma, and Brenda Young of Van Buren, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Gerald "JJ" Arthur Corbett, Jr., Joshua Corbett, Ayden Corbett, Landen Corbett, Emmalyne Corbett, and Logynn Corbett. He is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Corbett
