Barbara Joyce Huff, 63, of Chouteau, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Tulsa. She was born on July 13, 1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas; the daughter of Gerald and Norma (Evans) Corbett. Joyce worked as a home health nurse most of her life and enjoyed helping others. She liked to crochet and spend time with her grandchildren, enjoying each moment she had with them. She was also active in the Chouteau Senior Center and looked forward to going and visiting with the friends she had made there. She leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
No formal services are planned at this time and private burial will take place at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Joyce is survived by her father, Gerald Corbett of Chouteau, Oklahoma son, Tommy Cruise of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sisters, Deborah Cantrell and husband Riley of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Brenda Young of Van Buran, Arkansas; and Tammy Corbett of Mazie, Oklahoma; nephew, Travis Corbett of Coffeyville, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Kendra Foreman and husband Curtis of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Jason Scrapper and wife Ashley of Manford, Oklahoma, and Makayla, Makenzie, and Cody Cruise of Chouteau, Oklahoma; 2 great grandchildren, Braxton Foreman and Brooklyn Foreman. She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Corbett, husband, Kenneth Huff, daughter, Rena Lucius; brother, Arthur Corbett, and sister, Pat Corbett.
