She was born at home in her family’s farmhouse on June 23, 1937, in Porum, Oklahoma; the daughter of Victor Dewey Casey and Ollie Margaret (Robinson) Casey. Anne was 1 of 7 siblings and worked in the cotton fields with them as a young child. She was a tom boy and loved to play basketball and softball. Anne graduated from Porum High School and went on to attend college at Conner’s State, where she met the love of her life, Bob Roberson. Anne taught at Dustin, Blackwell, Claremore, Pryor Vo-Tech, Olive, and ultimately retired from Chouteau Schools.
