Barbara Jean Zink

Barbara Jean Zink, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on May 23, 1952, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Barbara lived a life rich with love and creativity, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by her family and friends.

Barbara dedicated herself to her family, nurturing deep connections with her daughters, Tina McDaniel and husband John of Adair, OK; Jackie King and husband Billy of Pryor, OK; and Kaitlynn Baker and Zachary Wood of Columbia, MO. She was a proud grandmother to Courtney and Kelly Whitetree of Langley, OK; Matthew and Raegen Gibson of Pryor, OK; Alexander and Bri Berka of Pryor, OK; Jonathon and Brittany Berka of Langley, OK; Daulton and Kristin King of Broken Arrow, OK; Ariel Berka of Pryor, OK; and Amelia Wood and Benson Wood of Columbia, MO. Barbara also took great joy in her role as a great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, whose lives she brightened with her warmth and affection.

Barbara’s hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit. She found happiness in the outdoors—fishing and tending to her garden. Her love for animals, particularly her cherished chickens, showcased her nurturing side. A talented crafter, she embraced DIY projects with enthusiasm and creativity. However, her greatest passion remained her family; any moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Zink; her parents, James and Estella (Willman) Han; her sister, Bobbie Jo; and her brother, James Han Jr.
