Behzad Nabatian, 67, of Chouteau, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on May 22, 1954 in Khorramshahr Iran; the son of Abood and Robab Nabatian. Behzad came to America in 1974 when he was 19 years old. He met his wife, Ann, 3 years later, before getting married in 1977. He worked for American Airlines for many years and retired from there in 2013. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working on his collection of cars, as well as any family or friend’s car that was in need of service. Behzad took in many people to his home and was always there when someone needed a helping hand. Above all, he dearly loved his children and 9 grandchildren. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish.

Behzad is survived by his mother, Robob Nabatian of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; son, Shaheen Nabatian and wife Lisa of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughter, Allyson Scott and husband Philip of Granite City, Illinois; brother, Emad Nabatian of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Tonya Haydarian of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sister, Shoaleh Welch of Ventura, California; and his 9 grandchildren: Skylar Brown, Hailey Nave, Kian, Ava, and Scarlett Nabatian and Parish, Ayden, Nouri and Kai Scott; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Abood; and wife, Ann Nabatian.
