Benjamin "David" Pock, a devoted individual known for his various roles in life, passed away on July 5, 2024. Born on January 6, 1941, David led a life full of diverse experiences and contributions that left a lasting impact on those around him. In youth, David showcased his musical talent by playing the guitar and being part of a rock'n'roll band during his high school years. Transitioning into adulthood, he dedicated himself to hard work, studying the Bible, and sharing his knowledge through teaching. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through in the 70s and 80s when he ventured into owning restaurants and later delved into the siding home improvement business. Not only did David excel in his professional endeavors, but he also found fulfillment in serving others through a prison ministry at one point in his life. Later on, David followed his calling to become a minister at a church in Perkins for several years before eventually retiring to Mannford, OK. He found joy in simple pleasures such as vacationing in Branson, a tradition he upheld almost every year. In his final years, he cherished attending music shows with his close friend Rocky, creating lasting memories and enjoying the company of loved ones. Apart from his professional achievements and interests, David also honorably served the United States Army during the Vietnam War, showcasing his bravery and dedication to his country. Benjamin "David" Pock will be remembered not only for his numerous accomplishments but also for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and dedication to spreading love and positivity to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, service, and cherished memories that will be forever treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

David is survived by his children, Deena Lynn Baker – Letosky and wife Julie of Avon, Ohio, Daniel Lee Baker and wife Kristine of Orange, California; Allen Pock of Santa Fe Springs, California; Ex-wife and mother of children: Ethelene Durham-Baker; nieces; Kathy and Melaine; 5 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Essie Pock and sister, Norma.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at Lakeview Christian Church in Mannford, OK, with Pastor Michael Grant officiating. The family would like to extend an invitation to join them after the service for fellowship and a meal.
