Benjamin Wilkins

Benjamin "Bennie" Clay Wilkins, 12, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on February 7, 2016 in Vinita, Oklahoma. He was born on September 19, 2003 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Johnie and Melinda (Yust) Wilkins. He was a 6th grade student at the Adair Middle School. Bennie loved everyone and had a smile that would light up a room. He looked forward to fishing and playing video games. He loved Wii U and play station, especially while playing skylanders. Bennie had a special love for animals and playing outside. He also enjoyed giving his "papa" a hard time. Kyana Rain Wilkins, 14, of Adair, passed away on February 7, 2016 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born on December 3, 2001 in Vinita, Oklahoma; the daughter of Johnie and Melinda (Yust) Wilkins. She was a 7th grade student at Adair Middle School and enjoyed choir and music. She loved animals; especially her grandmother's horse "Patches." She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her brother, Benjamin. She loved to laugh and smile and would brighten up the day of the people around her. Funeral services for Benjamin and Kyana will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 in the Adair High School Event Center with Reverend Roy Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Benge Cemetery with the Strang Fire Department serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Kyana and Benjamin are survived by their parents; Johnie and Melinda Wilkins of the home; Stang, Oklahoma. Paternal Grandparents are Donnie and Patsy Wilkins, Great Grandparents are Curley and Geneva Chamberlain; Maternal Grand Father is Dennis Yust; They are preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Betty Yust and maternal uncle, Marty Yust.
