Betty JoAnn Ingram, 78, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Salina, Oklahoma. She was born on February 19, 1936 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Frank Pool and Lilly (Lynch) Pool. She married Don Ingram on June 12, 1955 in Yuma, Arizona and had celebrated 59 years of marriage. She attended Peggs Community Church in Peggs, Oklahoma. Betty enjoyed church and activities related to church. Betty was a great witness for Christ, asking everyone she met if they knew Jesus. She dearly loved her family and all the time spent with each one. Betty will be remembered as a lovely lady of faith who leaves a wonderful legacy of love of her Lord and her family for each to cherish and remember. Memorial Services will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Peggs Community Church in Peggs, Oklahoma with Reverend Rex Hendrickson officiating. She is survived by her husband, Don V. Ingram of the home; her children, Don V. Ingram Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Collinsville, OK, Douglas J. Ingram and wife, Suzanne of Pagosa Springs, CO and Clay H. Ingram and wife, Kimberly of Pryor, OK; eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell, Jack and Robert Pool; her sisters, Helen and Marie Pool.
