Betty Sue Baldwin

Betty Sue Baldwin, 65, of Salina, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in Broken Arrow. She was born on December 16, 1956, in Pryor; the daughter of John and Mattie (Anderson) Ward. On July 19, 1973, she married Bob Baldwin in Salina and they spent many wonderful years together. She was never known to turn down an opportunity to go fishing or have a cookout with her family at the lake. She enjoyed sitting on the porch and almost anything outside. She also loved to go to yard sales and spend time couponing. Most of all, she loved being a nana and making memories with her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, and nana, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022, in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Casket Bearers will be Bob Baldwin, Chandler Smallwood, Robby Huffman, Robert Cook, Alex Erwin, and Ken Fetters.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Shipman’s Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Bob Baldwin of the home; daughters, Chelle Huffman and husband Robby of Locust Grove, Kelly Melton of Vinita, Theresa Taylor of Independence, Kansas, Stacy Crawford and husband Billy of Eucha, and Vicki Cook and husband Robert of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; brothers, Kenneth Ward and wife Jolene, Wilbur, Lloyd, and Clifford Ward; sisters, Shirley Cunningham and husband Newton, Mary Randolph, Tina Cox, Jamie and Shondi Ward; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie Ward; and one brother, James Ward.
