Betty L. (Pippin) Nevins 77 of Del City, and formerly of Pryor was born on February 11, 1933 in Fairland, OK. She passed away on October 12, 2010 in Del City, Oklahoma. The daughter of Everett Ada Irene (Perkins) Pippin. Betty grew up and attended school in California and also in Pryor. She was married to Mr. Jerry Nevins on November 1, 1993 in Green Castle, IN. She enjoyed doing oil paintings, rock collecting, sewing and cooking but most of all being with her family. Betty was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 15, 2010 in the Bryan Chapel Cemetery in Boatman, Oklahoma with Rev. Junior Mullin officiating. Betty is survived by her daughter Elaine (Richards) Guthrie husband Bobby of Del City, Ok. 1- Son; David Richards wife Rhonda of Pryor, Ok. Her Brothers; Louis Gene Pippin wife Delores of Locust Grove, Ok, Billy Ray Pippin wife Daisy of Collinsville, Ok, Danny Pippin Joan of Pryor, OK. 1-Sister Linda Price of Cherokee Village Ok. And a host of relatives and friends. 4-Grandchildren 7-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by: Her husband Jerry Nevins on Jan. 15, 2008, 1-Granddaughter Melissa Richards, 1-Brother Homer Lee Pippin and her parents.
