Billy Briggs

Billy Gene Briggs, 80, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born on January 18, 1935 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Hershell and Jewell (Dill) Briggs. He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force. Billy worked for the City of Pryor for over 30 years, working in the Street Department. He was a member of the Pryor Elks Lodge. He also enjoyed watching western movies and older cars. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Billy is survived by his daughter, Robin Chavez of Fullerton, California; brother, Woody Briggs of Pryor, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hershell and Jewell Briggs; 2 sons, Robert Lee Briggs and Ronald Leslie Briggs; and daughter, Roberta Lois, and wife, Patricia Ann Briggs.
