Billy Cloyde

Billy Barton Cloyde, 78, of Salina, Oklahoma passed away, Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born October 12, 1931 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma to Bruce Barton Cloyde and Florence Etta (Higgenbothem) Cloyde. Bill married Sibyl Fryar on August 11, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Bill served his Country in Kobe, Japan. Bill spent much of his life managing and owning trophy stores in Kansas City, Missouri and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He purchased Superior Trophies in 1963 and operated it until 1983. Bill owned and operated Holiday Village Restaurant with his wife, Sibyl from 1983 and until his retirement in 1993. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on June 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Shipmané��â‚â„�s Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Camron Moles officiating. Interment will at 3:00 p.m. in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with David Brian, Paul Brian, Alex Brian, Daniel Brian, Anthony Crum and Jerry Hodges serving as casketbearers. Bill is survived by his wife, Sibyl of the home; daughter, Jan Brian and husband, Clark of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Billy Cloyde and wife, Elaine of Vienna, MO; grandchildren, David and wife, Robin , Paul Brian, Alex Brian, Daniel and wife, Kim Brian, all of Oklahoma City, OK, Haley Cloyde of Springfield, MO, Anthony Crum of Vienna, MO; great-grandchildren, Zane and Ivy Brian, Worthy Brian, Brandt Babiak and Zaknafian Brian of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Grandall (Bob) Cloyde; sister, Elma Philips of Tulsa, OK; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Louetta Portzer.
