Billy Jeter

Billy Dee Jeter, 74, of Pryor, passed away on, March 2, 2019 at his
home. He was born on May 26, 1944 in Pryor; the son of D. W. Jeter
and Velma Lee (Smith) Jeter. Billy faithfully served his country in the
United States Air Force and was a member of the Pryor Creek Masonic
Lodge #100. In November 2, 1993, he earned his 32 nd Degree Master
Mason and became a perpetual member in June of 1994. He worked as
a mechanic most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his friends
and family and going fishing. He also looked forward to playing the
drums and hanging out at Sandusky’s Market, listening to music. He
leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who
knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019 in
the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerold Pilant
officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with
Kelly Brown, Kyle Brown, Steven Davis, Zach Hanes, Mickey Ragsdale,
and Steve Bishop serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from
6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the Shipman’s

Billy is survived by his daughter, Michele Davis and husband Steven of
Roland, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Megan Billy and Zachary Hanes. He is
preceded in death by his parents, D. W. and Velma Jeter.
