Billy Proctor

Billy Joe Proctor, 58, of Oaks, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was born on December 15, 1956 in Kenwood; the son of Roy and Ruffie (Wickliffe) Proctor. He worked for Simmons Food as a poultry worker. Billy enjoyed drawing and going to watch car races with his friends. He also enjoyed motorcycles and telling stories with his friends. He looked forward to spending time with his family and friends and cherished each moment he had with them. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2 p.m., in the Steeley Baptist Church in Eucha, Oklahoma with Reverend Richard Soldier officiating. Interment will be in the Euwasha Cemetery with Clayton Proctor, James Proctor, Clifton McNeese, Clinton Crittenden, Jeremy Proctor and Damon Gourd serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Nickolas Sharp and Matthew Pape. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy Proctor of Salina, Oklahoma, Stanley Proctor of Kenwood, Oklahoma and Wadie Proctor of Foyil, Oklahoma; sisters, Wanda Crittenden of Salina, Oklahoma, Janie Pape of Grand Meadow, Minnesota and Dollie Sharp of Kenwood, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruffie Proctor, 3 brothers and his grandparents.
