Bob Sullivan

Bob Sullivan, 63, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on December 20, 1951 in Joplin, Missouri; the son of Loren and Mildred (Bendure) Sullivan. Bob faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He married Jackie Wells on December 22, 1998 in Miami, Oklahoma. Bob was an avid Nascar fan and looked forward to watching OU Football. He also enjoyed listening to Reba McIntire. Bob retired from Controlled Components and worked as the warehouse manager for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished each moment he had to spend with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services for Bob will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jesse Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Pleasant View Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas with Keith Herd, Jon Ketcher, Jonathan Ketcher, Sam Ketcher, Leon Graham, and J.C. Smith serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m, Tuesday, October 6 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Bob is survived by his mother, Mildred Phillips of Joplin, Missouri; sons, Michael Sullivan of Coffeyville, Kansas, Jon Ketcher and wife Hollie of Pryor, Oklahoma, Sam Ketcher and wife Shawna of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Angela Herd and husband Keith of Miami, Oklahoma and Kristina Dragoo and husband Jonathan of Seneca, Missouri; brother, William Sullivan of Webb City, Missouri; sister, Virginia Wilson of Ava, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Loren Sullivan, his wife, Jackie Sullivan and son, Brian Sullivan.
