Bob Witt

Bobby Lee Witt, 80, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home in Pryor. He was born on February 6, 1936 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Howard P. Witt and Mary D. (Hughes) Witt. Bob faithfully served his Country in the United States Navy. He married Shirley Ann Kirk on September 15, 1958 at Parrisburg, Virginia. He owned and operated Witt Monument Company in Pryor for many years. Bob enjoyed playing and listening to Bluegrass music, attending bluegrass festivals and jamming with his buddies. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Private family services will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; his daughter, Vicki and husband, Kirk Underwood of Locust Grove, OK; brother, Dale Witt of Pryor, OK; sister, Ruth Walters of Pryor, OK; grandson's Shane and Christopher Underwood; several nieces and nephews; many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Witt; one sister, Wanda Smith.
