Bobby Chidester

Bobby Gene Chidester, 73, of Pryor, passed from this life on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1948 in Pryor; the son of Carrol and Mildred (Edwards) Chidester. Bobby faithfully served our country in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from the military, Bobby started truck driving. He was a lifelong resident of Pryor and was a proud member of the DAV. Bobby was married to the love of his life, Stella, for the last 53 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing bingo with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Stella, of the home; sons, Carrol Chidester of Pryor and Robert Chidester and wife Louetta of Pryor; 3 grandchildren, Nichole, Kaci, and Ayden; 2 great grandchildren, Kayden and Piercelynn; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol and Mildred.
