Bobby Pickup

Bobby Lee Pickup, 56, of Pryor, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Tulsa. He was born on September 16, 1963 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Sixkiller and Jennie (Sanders) Pickup. Bobby worked in lawn care most of his life around the Mayes County area. He loved to watch OU football and the Dallas cowboys and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He also loved to go to gospel singings at various churches and to attend hog frys. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend who leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family to cherish.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Raymond Snell officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Rock Indian Cemetery with Cody Trotter, Brett Pickup, Randall Pickup, Todd Pickup, Jason Pickup, and Trevor Montgomery serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Bobby is survived by his brothers, Charlie Pickup and wife Betty of Seligman, Missouri and Stanley Pickup and wife Lynn of Huntsville, Arkansas; sisters, Linda Trotter of Salina, Oklahoma, Jennifer Ringle and husband Ralph of Quincy, Michigan, Iris Lee and husband Kent of Ada, Oklahoma and Pat Petsemoie and husband Roger of Happy Land, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sixkiller and Jennie Pickup, brother, Guy Pickup and nephew, Greg Pickup.
