Bonnie Mae Brewer, 71, of Adair, departed from this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 1, 1949 in Coffeyville, KS; the daughter of William and Daisy (Mckibbon) Coy. Bonnie married the love of her life, Homer, in 1984 and they enjoyed traveling all over the United States. They also enjoyed spending time in the community at the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. Bonnie was a faithful contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital every month. She loved to dance and live in the moment. Above all, Bonnie loved her family and spending time with them.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Brian Tosh of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Darwin Brewer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; daughters, Cindy Norton of Adair, Oklahoma and Debbie Storey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sisters, Sue Coy of Coffeyville, Kansas, Ila Garoutte of Liberty, Kansas, and Ruth Starlin of Kansas; grandchildren, Crystal Headrick, Joshua West, Kasey Hawkins, and Cassie Storey; 7 great- grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Daisy; husband, Homer; and brother, Billy Coy.
