Brent Allen Maner

Brent Allen Maner, age 30, passed away on January 11, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1993, and his untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Brent was a dedicated employee at Cadet Manufacturing in Chouteau, Oklahoma. He had also worked for McLain and Sons Garage. Outside of work, Brent was known for his love for family. In his free time, Brent pursued various hobbies and interests that brought him immense pleasure. He found solace in fishing, finding peace while casting a line into tranquil waters. Additionally, he had a deep-rooted passion for working on cars. Brent found fulfillment in every project he embarked upon. Another one of his cherished activities involved attending races at Salina where he would help out as part of the wrecker crew.

Brent is survived by his daughter, Mercedes Lynn Gardner; parents, Perry and Janie Maner; girlfriend Candace Grass and her children Sebastian Martin and Carter Maguire; brothers, David Savage and Cody Maner and wife Lacrisa; sister Cerry Messimore and husband Travis; uncles, James Han and Paul Maner; aunts, Barbara Zinc and Margaret Mangus and husband Mike; Grandmother Ada Maner; friends Ethan Harges and James McLain; as well as 8 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Stella Han, and Russel Maner.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor.
