Brian Nelson Montgomery, 42, of Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 19,1981, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Brian lived a remarkable life filled with adventure, compassion, and an unwavering zest for living. Throughout his years, Brian captivated the hearts of those around him with his vibrant personality. He was known as a talented NAW wrestler who graced the ring with his strength and determination. With every match he fought, Brian showcased not only his physical prowess but also his indomitable spirit. Beyond wrestling, Brian found peace in the beauty of the natural world. He spent countless hours outdoors fishing and hunting. While he had many interests, one of Brian's greatest joys was watching "Dukes of Hazzard." This classic television show took him on countless adventures alongside Bo and Luke Duke. Their daring escapes and mischievous antics never failed to bring laughter to his heart. Brian's passion for life extended beyond his hobbies; it radiated through every interaction he had with others. His warm smile and charismatic charm made it effortless for him to connect with people from all walks of life. It seemed that he never met a stranger—his genuine interest in others shone through as he listened to their stories and offered a helping hand whenever needed. But most importantly, Brian cherished his beloved dog, "Pretty Girl." She was not just a pet but a loyal companion who stood by his side through thick and thin. Brian is survived by his wife, Jacalyn Montgomery of the home; sisters, Stephanie Bark and husband Mike of Salina, Oklahoma and Diana Herweck and husband Teddy of Drumright, Oklahoma; father, Brian Montgomery, Sr. and wife Jennifer of Pryor, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Sue Montgomery; nephew, Michael Bark; Great grandparents, Billy and Wanda Rogers; cousin, Jack Rogers; and Dacia Wilkins.
