Bruce Bennington Bishop “B3”, 82, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 26, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio; the son of Myron Clayton and Lillian Mae (McNabb) Bishop. He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida during his service. Bruce worked for many years as Vice President of Human Resources for Occidental Oil and Gas Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and even spent a year in Peru working for the company. He married Margaret on May 25, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada and they have celebrated 30 years of marriage. During his time in Columbus, Ohio, he was active in the Masonic Lodge, earning his 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #637, the Scottish Rite, and Aladdin Shrine. He had a love for corvettes and was also a member of the National Corvette Museum. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and traveling. Bruce and Margaret traveled all over and enjoyed getting to spend that time together. He was a member of the Pryor First United Methodist Church. Bruce was a loving husband and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Margaret Bishop of the home; “special” grandchildren, Mason, Carson, and Brooklyn Fuller of Inola, Oklahoma; sister, Bonne Wersel and husband Tim of Danville, California; niece, Meghan Wersel; nephew, Matt Wersel; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Lillian Bishop.
