Buford married the love of his life, Gail Ware, on August 13, 1955, and together they built a beautiful life and family. A Christian man with a kind heart, Buford’s faith and dedication to his loved ones were at the core of everything he did. He found great joy in the outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, or caring for the geese that made their home on his property. He also loved spending time tinkering around his home and faithfully tending to his yard on his riding lawn mower. Buford will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for family, and his ability to find contentment in life’s simplest pleasures.
