Candace Guardado

Candace Lynn (Maldonado) Guardado, 26, was born on May 26, 1992 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Her beautiful soul left this earth on October 18, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Dani Guardado on January 23, 2016 in Enid, Oklahoma. Candace gave birth to her “whole world” Abby Isabella, on October 27, 2016. Candace enjoyed sports while in school, excelled in all she tried, especially in basketball, volleyball and track. She never met a stranger, if you met her once, she left her impression on you. She always tried to lift someone up if they were down. Candace had a contagious laugh and smile. She leaves this world much too soon and leaves many memories for her family and friends to remember.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in the New Jordan Baptist Church in Salina, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Candace is survived by her husband, Dani Guardado of Enid, Oklahoma; her beautiful daughter, Abby Isabella Guardado of the home; mother, LaDonna Brown of Inola, Oklahoma; brothers, Justin Maldonado of Cordell, Oklahoma, Anthony Maldonado and wife Savannah of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Jaylon King of Chouteau, Oklahoma; niece, Raeni Diani; nephew, Kayson Rae; aunt/grandmother, Reva Cochran of Chouteau, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Eva King – Terhune.
