Carla Renee Schwider

Carla “Renee” Schwider, aged 48, passed on Dec 22, 2023 at 12:02 am. She was born on August 3, 1975 in Valencia, California to Jim and Doris Schwider. Renee was an only child. Renee graduated from Chouteau High School in 1993 then attended Oklahoma State University. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising. During her career, Renee worked in fashion management and merchandising for many years. There are many words to describe Renee but the most used would be "comical". Her laugh was infectious, and her humor drew many friends to her over her life that was taken too soon. Renee had a love for life, music, fashion and animals. She especially loved holidays; Halloween and 4th of July were her favorite times to celebrate and be with those she loved.

 Renee was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Doris Schwider. It is a comfort to know they are now reunited.

 A celebration of life will be held at her favorite restaurant, El Tequila, in Tulsa on January 20, 2024 at 2 pm. If you would like to attend, please rsvp via text to 405-408-9094. In lieu of flowers, the family of Renee ask that you make a donation to either Rockin G Animal Shelter of Pryor, Oklahoma or your favorite animal rescue.
