Carol Belty

Carol Jean Belty, 59, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 in Tulsa. Carol was born on August 12, 1951 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Paul and Maxine (Conatzer) Richardson. Carol worked for Empire Casting as a Lab Tech. Carol had numerous jobs in her life but the one job she took the most pride in was mom and grandmother. If it helped you through another day, she would give you the shirt off her back. If you needed a friend for life never look any further than Carol. She was a good listener and had a good shoulder to cry on. To say she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, doesn't quite seem to say enough. She was an amazing woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her so much. Funeral Services for Carol will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Matt Belty, Adam Belty, Chris Wallace, Tracy Finney, David Finney and John Belty serving as casket bearers. Carol is survived by her husband, Don Belty of the home; sons, Tracy and wife, Lisa Finney of Tulsa, OK, Myles Finney of Silver City, OK and David and wife, April Finney of Sapulpa, OK, John and wife, Debbie Belty of Glenpool, OK, Matthew and wife, Karen Belty of Sand Springs, OK and Adam and wife, Shasta Belty of Sand Springs, OK; her sister, Christine Wallace of Turley, OK; her brothers, Junior and wife, Charlene Richardson of Sperry, OK and Wally and wife, Sue Richardson of Sand Springs, OK; many grandbabies; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Maxine Richardson; one sister, Alice Bolding; one nephew, Jackie Wallace.
