Carol Cameron

Carol Renee Cameron, 46, of Broken Arrow, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at her home. She was born on March 28, 1970 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Jim Lyons and Debby Reed. Carol worked as a homemaker, and lovingly cared for her children. She married Bruce Cameron in Miami, Oklahoma on January 2, 2003. She looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with those she loved most. She loved nature; especially flowers and taking pictures of them. Carol enjoyed drawing, writing and keeping up with politics. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with David Jarboe officiating. Carol is survived by her husband, Bruce Cameron of the home; sons, Zachary Green and fiancé Trystan Dougherty of Pryor, Oklahoma, Brennan Palmer and wife Allison of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Skyler Cameron of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; father, Jim Lyons and wife Jeanette of Pryor, Oklahoma; mother, Debby Reed and husband Rick of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Kirk Lyons and wife Ashley of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Jessie Lyons of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jerri Hare of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jamie Hooker of Pryor, Oklahoma, Deletha Wright of Seattle, Washington, Shelia Stanford of Seattle, Washington, Talisa Wright of Seattle, Washington; maternal grandmother, Barbara Kirk of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Chester Kirk; paternal grandparents, Luther and Fern Lyons and nephew, Dakota Lyons.
