Caroline E. Trickett

December 30, 1937 — April 19, 2025

Tulsa

Caroline Earl Trickett, 87, of Tulsa, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025. Caroline was a woman of many talents and quiet strength. Throughout her life, she balanced time spent working as a nurse and volunteering for political campaigns, with her most cherished role—creating a warm and loving home for her family. She had a practical nature, and a spirit that embraced both care and creativity. A lifelong lover of books, Caroline especially enjoyed romance and historical novels. She had a sharp mind and a love for games, often found playing solitaire, bridge, or challenging family and friends to Scrabble. She found joy in working outdoors, tending to her garden, bird watching, and putting together puzzles. In her spare time, she also enjoyed doing macramé, quilting and needlepoint, and had a natural ability to fix just about anything. Caroline will be remembered for her wit, her kindness, and her love for the simple pleasures that made each day meaningful. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will hold a private graveside service at Graham Memorial Cemetery. To leave her family a message, please visit her Tribute Wall at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

Caroline is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Burchett of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lesley Stover of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Leah Stover and Cole Thompson, Will Stover and Courtney Stover, Samantha Stover and Tater McSpadden, Corbin Burchett and Courtney, and Dalton Burchett and Ceiara; great grandchildren, Stetson, Brynlee, Bentley, Blakely, Baker, Lucas, Houston, Dallas, Beau, Lela, and Perry; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil B. Hacker and Leah B. (Ward) Hacker, and son, William Trickett, and sister, Mina Jo Brooks.
